The Bath Centre for Pain Services is a UK National Specialist Pain Service that has accepted private referrals for over 25 years. We deliver intensive, residential pain rehabilitation to help restore functioning and life engagement in adults with complex pain.

Service Leaflet

We deliver specialist assessment and treatment only - no medicolegal or expert witness work.

Focus on specialist rehabilitation - no interventions, new medications. But better functioning can lead to medication reduction.

Intensive residential treatments of 1 - 4 weeks, with follow up and post-programme support.

Preparation

Please explain to the patient that this is a rehabilitation approach that will require a lot of physical and emotional effort from them. We can explain more at assessment. Please clarify that we don't give drugs or injections.

The Assessment

Two-hour online consultation with Consultant in Pain Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist. We will explore medical history, psychosocial and physical functioning, consider suitability for programme.
