We work with key academic partners at the University of the West of England, and the University of Bath. We are also proud to be part of the Integrated Pain Management Health Integration Team (HIT), an impressive Bath and Bristol-based group of clinicians and researchers.
We are lucky to be able to host and supervise postgraduate researchers.
University of West of England (UWE Bristol)
Dr Jenny Lewis and Dr Jeremy Gauntlett-Gilbert are joint Research leads for the Bath National Pain Specialty. Jenny is an Associate Professor in Clinical Research at UWE Bristol, and Jeremy is an Honorary Research fellow. We are lucky to have two UWE PhD students working with us at the current time.
University of Bath & University of Stirling
Our unit was set up with links to Bath University, which still has a strong tradition in pain – see the Centre for Pain Research pages. We now work closely with Dr Abbie Jordan and other pediatric pain researchers such as Dr Line Caes at the University of Stirling.
